Warranty on every piece
Currently in Production
A cross-section of the custom and hospitality shades KAHA is manufacturing this month — every piece built to order against a drawing, never pulled off a warehouse shelf.

Indicative unit price, ex-works Ho Chi Minh City. Excludes freight, insurance and duties. Volume pricing confirmed on quotation.
How We Manufacture
A lampshade manufacturer should be judged on what it actually controls — not on whether it owns a single building. KAHA designs the pattern, selects the cloth, and keeps the moulds and forms that give a KAHA shade its line. Production runs across our network of partner workshops in Ho Chi Minh City, working to our moulds and under our inspection. Nothing leaves for delivery without being checked and light-tested first.
Cloth comes from Vietnamese craft villages — Nam Định, Hội An, Vạn Phúc — rather than cheap mass imports, and every frame is powder-coated before the fabric goes on. Founded in 2018 by Nguyễn Văn Trường.
Manufacturer vs Trading Company
Not every supplier that answers a lampshade enquiry actually manufactures the piece. Here is the honest difference between a manufacturer that owns the drawing and the mould, and a trading company that resells whatever is already on the shelf.

Manufacturing Capability
Send an AutoCAD drawing, a hand sketch or a reference photo. We redraw it to spec before a single frame is cut.
Steel frames in 28 powder-coat finishes, with Pantone matching available for brand-exact colour.
Dó-paper lanterns can carry a logo, kanji or pattern — a common request for branded F&B and hospitality spaces.
A sound old frame can be re-coated and re-skinned in new fabric for roughly 30–40% less than a new build, under the same 12-month warranty.
Minimum order: 50 pieces for export · 10 pieces within Vietnam. Samples carry no minimum.
Working With a Manufacturer
Getting a Quote
A useful quote from a manufacturer should tell you more than a single price. When you send us a drawing, we come back with the fabric recommendation, the frame colour options within our 28 powder-coat finishes, a realistic lead time for the quantity you need, and the minimum order that applies — 10 pieces inside Vietnam, 50 for an international order, or no minimum at all if you only need a sample first.
We aim to send that first quote within 30 minutes of receiving your drawing, but the number that matters more than speed is accuracy — a quote built against your actual dimensions and material choice, not a generic placeholder that changes once production starts.

Manufacturer Questions
A manufacturer. KAHA designs the pattern, selects the cloth, owns the moulds and inspects every piece before it ships. Production runs across our partner workshop network in Ho Chi Minh City, built to our moulds and under our inspection — we are not reselling stock shades bought from somewhere else.
Yes. Send an AutoCAD file, a hand sketch or even a reference photo on WhatsApp. We redraw it to spec, confirm dimensions and materials, and quote against that drawing — not a generic catalogue size.
Fifty pieces for international orders, ten pieces for projects inside Vietnam. There is no minimum for samples — we would rather you judge the fabric and the frame in the hand before committing to a production run.
We hold the moulds, the drawings and the colour references, and every piece is inspected and light-tested by KAHA before sign-off. The physical welding, powder-coating and fabric work is carried out across our partner workshop network, working to our specification — not farmed out to whichever supplier happens to be free.
We build for export — five-layer cartons with PE foam, and we coordinate directly with your freight forwarder. To be straightforward with you, our international clients have so far specified KAHA for properties inside Vietnam, so you would be among our first formal export accounts. We price and plan the shipment accordingly, and would rather say this plainly than overstate our track record.
Manufacturing faults — loose stitching, lifting glue, a frame that does not match the approved drawing. Powder-coated steel frames also resist oxidation in normal indoor use.
Start With a Drawing
If your project is a single custom piece rather than a production run, our custom lampshades page walks through how a sketch becomes a sample. If you are buying in volume for a shop, hotel group or design studio, see minimum order quantities and freight packing on our wholesale lampshades page.
