The Atelier
KAHA is design-led. We draw the shape, choose the cloth, and keep the moulds and forms that give a KAHA shade its line. Production runs across our network of partner workshops in Ho Chi Minh City — working to our moulds, under our inspection. Every piece is checked and light-tested before it is signed off.
A KAHA shade is built in three honest layers: a powder-coated steel frame, a moulded ring formed to that frame, and the fabric wrapped and bonded over it by glue or hand-stitch. Cloth is sourced from Vietnamese craft villages — Nam Định, Hội An, Vạn Phúc — not cheap mass imports.
Founded in 2018 by Nguyễn Văn Trường.

Materials
Seven cloths and two hand techniques — each chosen for how it carries light, ages and suits a room. Any material can be dyed to a custom Pantone on request.
Soft brushed weave, diffuse warm light. The signature choice for 4–5★ and boutique rooms.
Linen flecked with natural black “pepper” — a vintage, French-colonial warmth.
Traditional village silk with woven motifs and rich colour — Asian, spa and heritage spaces.
Two woven layers that shift colour under light. The most premium cloth, for suites and VIP rooms.
Smooth blended yarn, fade-resistant and easy to clean. Ideal where many rooms need fast turnover.
Hand-woven raw silk from Nam Định craft villages. Uneven grain, true handmade character — a bestseller.
Thick natural canvas for rustic and industrial rooms — mountain homestays, vintage cafés.
Hand-folded vertical pleats. Classical European elegance for heritage 5★ interiors.
Coarse warm-ivory texture echoing aged hide — retro and French-colonial villas.

Capabilities
Send an AutoCAD file, a sketch or a reference photo. We redraw the design and produce to spec — clusters, drums, cones, ovals, lanterns, table & bedside shades.
Powder-coated steel frames in 28 powder-coat colours, with Pantone matching available on request for brand-exact finishes.
Dó-paper lanterns can carry your logo, kanji or pattern — made for sushi bars, izakaya and branded F&B spaces.
Keep a sound old frame, re-coat it and re-skin with new fabric — roughly 30–40% less than ordering new, with the same 12-month warranty.
Minimum order: 50 pieces for export · 10 within Vietnam. Samples, no minimum.
